The Tangled Snickerpuss

Where saucers fly and tea is served,
where supernatural is the word.
Prophets preach, and hucksters teach,
and gobble your tithe, while you just survive.
No indeed, it’s quite a swerve
from the Way, it can get absurd.

The Golden Warbler

While it’s really quite true
there is a swerve and a turn
it all depends on what brew.
Taste the tea, does it burn
it definitely doesn’t yield what’s yearned.

No indeed, the air is thick
it almost could make one sick;
best get out, breath fresh air
for this looks like a dangler’s lair.

Turn away,
come this way
far from dogma’s snare.
