The Golden Warbler

Through stress and strain and working in vain,
Snickerpuss sees the light.
She realizes it’s the Dogma’s game
that’s upsetting her at night.

She turns to the Warbler, whose sleeping on the sill,
and speaks ever so gently, about what she’d like to do.
Can’t we extend the framework, and stand on hospitality’s zeal?
Can’t we just look about us, and draw a intervidual life too?

The Golden Warbler jolted,
and then suddenly bolted
to the Library he flew, to design he climbed,
to projects and love he had tucked back in time!

By early morning he had returned with a list and a pen,
and told little Snickerpuss what he would need to upend.
Snickerpuss smiled and sighed with relief,
it was finally okay, to turn over that new tea leaf.
