Embraced by Nature

Botanical & Birds is the exploration and embracing of a place in a complex cosmos and ecological system. It explores various beings - animals, plants, insects, minerals, rivers and other bodies of water - as part of a reconnecting exploratory journey.

This place is sacred to me. It’s got a heartbeat in a womb. It’s entangled in shadows and deep earthen-context. It’s why I speak about it separately even though it’s embedded in my letter filled space called Terminal. Rebirth.

Accompanied by doodling, reflection, and reading, the name of it all is embodied re-membering and remembering. In this place is a burgeoning understanding of deep entanglement along with learning and experiencing how nature is encountered and invites story, symbol meaning, and learning embraced and kissed by those encounters. It’s the soil shaping my soul.
